  • Grease a muffin tray OR use liners.
  • In a bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the egg, milk, brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla extract, and oil.
  • Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  • Add in the mashed banana and chocolate chips.
  • Pour mixture into muffin cups (or loaf pan) about 2/3 full.
  • Place tray in preheated oven, 350 degrees, and bake for about 20-23 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean once inserted in center of muffin.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool a few minutes before serving!
