Cast Iron Skillet Nachos

These Cast Iron Skillet Nachos are loaded with flavor! Topped with a Zesty sour cream sauce, these are a great appetizer, snack, or even main meal!

Ingredients

  • 1 bag tortilla chips
  • 2 cups shredded pork (or meat of choice)
  • 1 cup Mexican cheese, shredded
  • 4 oz sour cream
  • 2 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • toppings of choice: lettuce, jalapenos, sour cream, salsa, beans, cilantro

Instructions

  • Place chips on bottom of cast iron skillet. *Or sheet pan if using
  • Spread meat on top evenly, followed by cheese. *If using peppers or beans, add these now.
  • Place skillet in preheated oven, 375 degrees, and cook for about 10-15 minutes.
  • While cooking, combine the sour cream, hot sauce, and chili powder together in a bowl.
  • Remove skillet from oven and drizzle sour cream mixture evenly on top.
  • Add desired toppings (lettuce, cilantro, sour cream, salsa) and serve immediately!

Notes

*Feel free to cut recipe in half if serving less people
