Back to School Casserole

This Back to School Casserole is quick to prepare, packed with flavor, and family approved! Pasta, chicken, veggies, and seasoning combined into a dish everyone will love!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups chicken, cooked/shredded
  • 3 cups cooked pasta (I use Rotini, but use whatever you have on hand)
  • 20 oz. cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 6 oz French fried onions
  • 2 cups mixed veggies *I used frozen
  • 2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

  • Grease a 9x13 baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cooked pasta, cream of chicken soup, broth, milk, 1/2 container of fried onions, veggies, garlic, seasoning salt, and 1/2 cup cheddar cheese.
  • Spread mixture into prepared baking dish.
  • Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese on top and cover pan with foil.
  • Place in preheated oven, 350 degrees, and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove foil and sprinkle remaining container of fried onions evenly on top.
  • Bake an additional 5 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and serve! Enjoy!
