Valentine's Day Skillet Cookie Recipe

- 1 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (I used milk chocolate, any work)
- 1/2 cup M & M's
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Place butter into skillet and place skillet into oven.
Once butter has melted, remove pan from oven and pour butter into medium sized mixing bowl.
Add the brown sugar and vanilla extract. Stir to incorporate.
Fold in the eggs.
Add the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Once combined, fold in the chocolate chips.
Place cookie dough into skillet and spread evenly.
Sprinkle M & M's on top (as well as additional chocolate chips if desired)
Place skillet into oven and allow to bake 25-30 minutes. *If using 12 inch, cooking time may be less
Remove from oven once toothpick comes out clean when inserted in center.
