Valentine's Day Skillet Cookie Recipe

This Valentine's Day Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie is just the thing to make for your Valentine! A moist, flavorful cookie loaded with m & m's and chocolate chips!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (I used milk chocolate, any work)
  • 1/2 cup M & M's

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Place butter into skillet and place skillet into oven.
  • Once butter has melted, remove pan from oven and pour butter into medium sized mixing bowl.
  • Add the brown sugar and vanilla extract. Stir to incorporate.
  • Fold in the eggs.
  • Add the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Once combined, fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Place cookie dough into skillet and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle M & M's on top (as well as additional chocolate chips if desired)
  • Place skillet into oven and allow to bake 25-30 minutes. *If using 12 inch, cooking time may be less
  • Remove from oven once toothpick comes out clean when inserted in center.
  • Serve!!
