Bread Machine Breadsticks

This Bread Machine Breadsticks recipe is very easy and produces fantastic homemade breadsticks using the convenience of a bread machine! Fluffy, soft, and flavorful!

Ingredients

Bread

  • 1 1/3 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 2 teaspoon yeast

Topping

  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Italian seasoning/Garlic/Parmesan

Instructions

  • Add the water, butter, sugar, salt, flour, and yeast to the bread pan in order as listed.
  • Place pan into machine and put on dough cycle.
  • When dough is ready, remove from pan and place on flat surface.
  •  Cut dough into pieces, about the size of an egg, and roll/stretch into 6–8-inch ropes.
  • Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
  • Cover with a towel and allow to rise for about 20 minutes.
  • Mix the egg white and water together in small bowl and brush the glaze on top of bread sticks.
  • Sprinkle desired toppings on top and place pan in a preheated oven, 400, for about 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and enjoy!!
