Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Cookies

Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Cookies are soft, chewy chocolate cookies loaded with peanut butter chips! Simple to make and flavorful, they're bound to be a favorite with everyone!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 bag peanut butter chips (I used Reese's)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, cream together the butter and both types of sugar.
  • Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  • Fold in the peanut butter chips.
  • Drop dough by the tablespoon onto a baking sheet. *Be sure to allow 2 inches between cookie dough so they don’t spread into each other.
  • Once baking sheet is filled, place in preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool 1-2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet.
