  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 bag peanut butter chips (I used Reese's)

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. In a medium mixing bowl, cream together the butter and both types of sugar.

  3. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.

  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

  5. Slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.

  6. Fold in the peanut butter chips.

  7. Drop dough by the tablespoon onto a baking sheet. *Be sure to allow 2 inches between cookie dough so they don’t spread into each other.

  8. Once baking sheet is filled, place in preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes.

  9. Remove from oven and allow to cool 1-2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet.
