- 2 cups flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 eggs, separated
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- syrup, fruit, whipped cream
In a medium bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and baking powder. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, lightly beat the egg yolks.
Add in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla. Mix well.
Stir mixture into dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold into batter.
Bake in a preheated waffle iron until golden brown.
