My ultimate dessert is anything and everything to do with peanut butter chocolate. It is seriously my favorite ever!! I made these brownies and thought, what an amazing combo. These were more peanut butter than chocolate, but yummy nonetheless. With a little scoop of chocolate peanut butter ice cream on top (yes, I told you, I am a true fan), you’ll have one amazing dessert!!
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
6 tbsp butter, softened
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350. Grease an 8×8 baking pan. In a medium bowl, stir flour, baking powder, and salt together. In a mixer, cream together butter and peanut butter until smooth. Add the sugars and mix until combined. Add the eggs and vanilla. Add the dry ingredients mixing until combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread batter in pan and bake for about 35 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean once inserted in middle of pan.
*To avoid turning brown, place a sheet of aluminum foil on top of brownies halfway through.
