With the kids being out of school for the summer, I have found our schedules to be quite crazy. Most days, its hard to get dinner on the table, since we spend our time at the park, beach, pool, etc. During the school year, I always have time during the day to get a healthy, well balanced, dinner on the table. In the summer, I love to add a side dish or main meal from the frozen section of the grocery store because not only does it save me time, but it is just as healthy.
Freezing is how fresh food stays fresh. Freezing naturally pauses inspired recipes made with fresh, quality ingredients, and suspends them there until the moment you’r ready to enjoy them, locking in freshness, flavor, and nutrients. Frozen food is made using real recipes and real ingredients. Freezing simply keeps just picked, just baked, and just crafted foods at the peak of freshness.
Although fresh food is fantastic, frozen food helps families all over get meals on the table quickly, with added convenience!!
All 3 of my kids have their favorites! My oldest LOVES to enjoy Genreal Mill’s Totino Pizza Rolls, my daughter loves Heinz Bagel Bites, and my youngest enjoys yummy Pinnacle Mrs Paul’s Crunchy Fish Sticks on a sandwich!! My personal favorite is Red Baron Deep Dish Pizzas for a quick dinner, or adding Ore Ida french fries with our grilled burgers at dinner time. Since there are so many kids coming in and out of my house during the summer play dates, I love to keep Stouffers Mac and Cheese in my freezer for a quick, kid friendly, substantial meal for kids!
Whatever you choose to enjoy, it is sure to save on time, energy, and help keep everyone happy!! If you are hosting a gathering, having a BBQ, heading to a friends house, or just out and about one day, definitely make sure something is in your freezer you can pull out for the occasion!!
