    Cinnamon Sugar Pull Apart Loaf

    September 21, 2021 by Kristin 14 Comments

Sweet, sticky, and ready to eat in just a few minutes, this Cinnamon Sugar Pull Apart Loaf can’t be topped!  The combo of brown sugar and cinnamon with buttery biscuits makes for a great Saturday morning breakfast, or a sweet after school snack for the kiddos!

    Cinnamon Sugar Pull Apart Loaf

My kids love sweets (obviously!), and nothing gets them more excited than a sweet, home baked Saturday morning breakfast treat.  This quick pull apart loaf ticks all of the boxes!  It has the sweetness thanks to the brown sugar.  The added cinnamon gives it that distinct monkey bread flavor!  Preparation is a piece of cake when using canned Pillsbury biscuits.  Add in butter and you have a home run.

This shortcut breakfast loaf will fill your home with cinnamon and sugar, and everyone will come running!

Growing up, it was always the Saturday morning breakfasts that did it for me.  Getting up early, building forts in the family room, and hanging out for an hour or two before my parents woke up was always the highlight of my week.  Long before smart phones and iPads, we had local TV….you know, the kind of TV you had to play with the antenna to make the static go away!  I could spend hours in my fort, curled up in blankets, watching Saturday morning cartoons….the kind of cartoons you don’t see on TV anymore!

Every other morning, my mom beat me to the kitchen for sure, but Saturday mornings were special, as she would come to the kitchen right when I started feeling hunger creep in.  Instead of making a bowl of cereal or grabbing a pop-tart, my mom would come to the rescue with this Cinnamon Sugar Pull Apart Loaf.

It was always the highlight of my week.  This loaf is based on using already-made biscuits, then mixing a quick drizzle of butter, cinnamon and sugar.  Coat the biscuits well and pop into the oven, and you end up with a caramel-sticky cinnamon sugar glaze over the crispy biscuits.  I’m getting so hungry just thinking about it, this recipe may just have to make an appearance this Saturday in my own house!

You say to spray a Bundt pan but then you say to put the biscuits in a loaf pan. The two are not the same!

I’m not seeing the bundt pan directions on this post? I only see the loaf pan directions. This can be made in either type of pan though, 🙂

My pan is 8-1/2 x 4-1/2 x 2-1/2 inches but the next size up is the 9 inch loaf pan and that works great too!
