    My favorite holiday cookie is whatever my granddaughter wants to bake with me! To me it’s all about creating memories. Whatever memory is created in the kitchen just makes it my favorite!

    I like sugar cookies with frosting. But not just any sugar cookie, Mary’s sugar cookies made with powdered sugar. Yum!

    My all time favorite is the family receipe “homemade sugar cookie”!! My Grandma use to make every Thanksgiving an Christmas. Couldn’t wait to gobble them up as a child. Then my mom would make them until she died of cancer at the young age of 45. Now every year my oldest sister an I are the cookie bakers! Will forever love them an have made sure to pass down receipe to my children!!

    I dont know if you have heard of these but christmas isnt christmas in my home till we’ve had newfie snowballs!
    Chocolate and oatmeal balls rolled in coconut! So good!

    Date balls rolled in powered sugar, except I have to leave out the coconut. They are a family tradition that I’ve grown up with for as long as I can remember.

    A old recipe that my grandmother use to make and now I do and my brother loves to make them too they are called ice box cookies ( caramel nut)

    Iced cutout sugar cookies that my husband’s Grandma Knill used to make for him as a kid. We make them now every Christnas and all the kids and grandkids love these Grandma Knills!!!

    I can only pick one??? I guess I will pick the German zimtsterne cinnamon almond star cookie because it is delicious, and I have only seen it at the holidays. A supermarket bakery here used to make these cookies once a year.

    My favorite holiday cookie is the classic sugar cookie! I love making them into fun holiday cut outs and decorating them with icing and sprinkles. Delicious!

    My family loves my peanut butter cup cookies, I make them in my small cupcake pan and add either a peanut butter cup or a hershey kiss and I add red/green sugar to make them Christmas like! I have sent many of these to my son who is a Marine and now his buddy’s ask MoM to make them year round <3

    It’s really hard to choose just one! But I’d have to say made from scratch homemade chocolate chip pecan or peanut butter chocolate pecan cookies! Happy Holidays everyone!

    “Reindeer Poop” Cookies of course!! (No bake cookies but a more peanut butter style so theyre more “brown” lol) Who doesn’t like no bakes! <3 πŸ™‚
