I don’t know about you, but when it is Girl Scout cookie time, I am one happy gal! I do not know why those cookies are SO appealing to me, but come on, it is quite hard to order just one box, right?? My family and I are obsessed with the thin mints and the tagalongs! This year, my hubby and I have been trying to eat a little better, so I mistakenly ordered only a few boxes. Let me tell you, that was NOT smart of me because now that I cannot order more, I am bummed!! We only ordered one box of the tagalongs and it disappeared!! Okay, maybe it didn’t disappear, but its gone, in our bellies, happily enjoyed haha!! Anyhow, now that cookie season is gone, I was going through some sites and realized, I could make a knockoff version!! With only 3 ingredients, these were quite similar to the actual cookie, and will definitely keep us all happy until next cookie season, when I buy
up all of their cookie supply only one box, : )
1 box Vanilla Wafer Cookies
1 bag Milk Chocolate Chips
Peanut Butter, creamy
Place a spoonful of peanut butter on top of each vanilla wafer. Once cookies are covered, set aside. Place chocolate in a bowl and microwave in 30 second increments until fully melted. Drop the peanut butter covered cookie into the chocolate carefully and once fully covered in chocolate, remove using a fork. Place cookie on a piece of wax paper until chocolate is set. Store in an airtight container and enjoy!!!
*You can make as many or as little of these cookies as desired. I was able to get about 25-30 cookies per bag of chocolate chips!!
