Oven Toasted Ravioli

Last week, I asked my oldest kiddo what he wanted for dinner. Sometimes when I ask him that, he replies something crazy like ice cream, or a bowl of chocolate cereal, but surprisingly he ended up asking for pasta. As I looked through the pantry, fridge, and freezer, I realized I had a bag of ravioli and all the ingredients to whip this dish up. At dinner, the kids went crazy over this, especially since I served it with a side of marinara sauce and they got to have their own “dip”. It was definitely a hit and was full of flavor. It took no time to make, and had plenty for lunch leftovers the following day!!


1 bag (20 oz) frozen ravioli (any flavor works, I used cheese)
2 eggs
2 tbsp milk
1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Non-stick cooking spray
Marinara Sauce


In a small bowl, combine the eggs and milk. Whisk together and set aside. In a separate small bowl, combine the bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Dip each frozen ravioli into the egg mixture and then into the cheese mixture. Place each ravioli on an ungreased cookie sheet. Continue process until all ravioli have been dipped and coated. Spray ravioli lightly with non-stick cooking spray.Place cookie sheet in a preheated oven, 375, and bake for about 14-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from oven and serve with a side of marinara sauce.
