Apple Pie Breakfast Smoothie

If you are looking for a yummy breakfast or snack on the go, this is just the thing. Not only was it quick to make, but it tasted SO close to a slice of apple pie, just minus all the fat and calories. I made this smoothie over the weekend for my husband and I. Once the kids saw it, I made round two and all five of us loved it! 

I made this using my Vitamix. If you have a different type of blender, you may just need to adjust the blending time a bit, to make sure everything is smooth!

Ingredients:

5 raw almonds
1 red apple
1 banana
3/4 cup non-fat Greek yogurt
1/2 cup milk (I used almond milk, any type works)
1/4 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

Place all ingredients into the blender container. Place lid on top and blend on high for about 20-30 seconds, or until smooth! Serve!
