Homemade Fruit Snacks

I don’t know about your house, but in mine, a box of fruit snacks is gone before I even know where I put it. My three kids LOVE fruit snacks, but since its hard to keep them stocked in my house, I rarely buy them. I decided to try making them and sure enough, it was a hit!!! My kids went crazy for them!! With my son starting first grade in two weeks, I will definitely be including these in his lunchbox!!!

2/3 cup orange juice
2/3 cup fresh raspberries, strawberries, or blueberries (I used raspberry)
1 1/2 tbsp raw honey
4 tbsp Gelatin

In a sauce pan, stir together the orange juice and fruit over medium heat. Allow to cook until fruit is soft/tender. Add in honey and stir until all combined. Turn heat off and pour mixture into a blender or food processor. Pulse until pureed. Pour mixture back into saucepan and allow to cool for about 5-10 minutes. Slowly whisk in gelatin, making sure to avoid clumps. Pour mixture into an 8×8 pan and place in refrigerator to set up at least one hour. Cut into cubes and enjoy! *You can pour the mixture into fun molds if desired
