Anybody that lives in Texas goes to Chuy’s Mexican restaurant for one thing only, The Creamy Jalapeño Dip. I decided to make it at home since I happened to have some buttermilk that I needed to use up. If you have not tried it , you must! Warning: this dip IS very addicting! You must have tortilla chips nearby to prevent from eating it out of the bowl with your fingers!
1 1/3 cups of mayonnaise
1/3 cup of buttermilk
1 jalapeño seeded and chopped
2 green hatch chiles seeded and chopped
1/3 cup of cilantro
1 packet dry ranch dressing mix
Place all ingredients in Food Processor or Blender. Start until very well blended. Serve with Chips as a dip , or add it to your favorite dish.
