Slow Cooker Chicken Tater Tot Casserole

I am all about easy meals using my slow cooker. In fact, its what I prefer. If I could use my slow cooker 7 days a week, I probably would. This dinner took me about 5 minutes to throw together and was ready in time for dinner. It made enough to have leftovers for lunch the next day, and my kids loved it. I definitely rate this as quite the family friendly dinner!!

1 (32 oz) bag of Tater Tots
1 (3 oz) bag of Bacon Bits
1 lb boneless, skinless, chicken, diced
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheese (I used Mexican blend)
3/4 cup milk
1 can diced Green Chiles
Salt/Pepper/Garlic Powder

Spray slow cooker with cooking spray. Place half the bag of tater tots on bottom of slow cooker. Sprinkle 1/3 bag of Bacon on top of tots. Place 1/3 amount of cheese on bacon. Place chicken and chiles next. Sprinkle salt/pepper/garlic powder (to desired taste) on chicken.  Add 1/3 amount of bacon bits followed by 1/3 amount of cheese. Next, add remaining tater tots. Pour milk on top and close lid. Cook on low 4-6 hours!
