Crusty Garlic Bread

I have never tried making any type of garlic bread because buying it is always so much easier. Yes, buying it still is easier, but I must admit, this has much more flavor! If you love garlic bread, or pesto as this is somewhat similar, be sure to try this!

2 cloves garlic
1 1/2 cups flat leaf parsley leaves
1/3 cup walnuts
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp dried basil (I used fresh basil from my garden, about 10 leaves, not dried)
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup olive oil
1 loaf Italian bread

Preheat oven to 400. Drop the garlic cloves into a food processor or blender and process until finely chopped. Add in the parsley, walnuts, Parmesan, basil, and salt. Process until parsley and walnuts are finely chopped. With the food processor or blender still running, slowly add in olive oil and mix til smooth. Cut bread slices and spread garlic mixture on slices. Wrap bread loaf in foil and place in oven for 15-20 minutes. Serve!
