Mama’s Homemade Applesauce

Over the Holidays, my kids and I decided to make applesauce. Since my kids LOVE applesauce and ask for it in their lunches each day, I knew it would be a hit with everyone! I had my oldest peeling the apples, my middle and youngest kiddo helped add the ingredients and stir, and then all three were my taste testers!

The end result? BETTER than store bought applesauce! No preservatives, added “junk”, and it tasted incredibly fresh! We decided to add in some brown sugar and cinnamon since that is their fav, but feel free to omit that and keep it naturally sweetened!

Whether you make this for snacks, side dishes, sweet treats, etc. I highly recommend homemade over store bought any day!!

Enjoy!
