Chicken Puffs

Last year, I made a similar recipe using shredded chicken and crescent rolls and quickly discovered that they became a family favorite. I have changed the recipe up a few times, but must say, this variation is definitely my personal favorite. Not only was it simple to put together, but the flavor was delicious and the gravy was the perfect addition!! My husband likes to freeze the leftovers and use them as lunches at work! I definitely will be making these again, : )

4 cups chicken, cooked and shredded
8 oz cream cheese, softened
4 tbsp butter, softened
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 cup milk
3 tbsp minced onion
2 packages crescent rolls
Chicken Gravy (any package from the store will do, or you can make your favorite gravy)
In a large bowl, combine the chicken, cream cheese, butter, salt, ground pepper, garlic, milk, and onion. Once combined, unroll the packages of crescent rolls. Each package should have 8 rolls in them. Using two crescents, to form a rectangle, scoop the chicken mixture and place on center of roll. Pinch all the sides together and place on a cookie sheet. Once all crescents are filled with chicken and are pinched closed. Place cookie sheet in a preheated oven, 375, for about 15-20 minutes. Once slightly golden brown, remove from oven and serve with warm gravy on top!!
