Snickerdoodle Pancakes

If you have read any of my other breakfast posts, you know that my family LOVES pancakes! We have tried cinnamon swirl pancakes, pumpkin, blueberry, birthday cake, and now snickerdoodle. These definitely are my number one favorite kind. We have made these about 5 times in the last month because the kids go crazy over them!! Of the 5 times made, I think only 1 has been at breakfast, haha. These make a yummy breakfast dinner, : )

1 cup flour
3 tbsp sugar
2 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1 cup sour cream
4 tbsp melted butter
1 egg
1/4 cup milk

In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cream of tartar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. In a separate bowl, combine the sour cream, melted butter, egg, and milk. Add wet mixture to the dry mixture and stir until just combined. Pour about 1/4 cup onto a hot non-stick griddle. When edges of pancakes start to set and pancake gets bubbly on top, flip pancake to the other side. Once cooked, serve warm, : )

These sounds great! I don’t have sour cream in the house so I wonder about using greek yogurt. I might just have to try it. Sounds yummy!!!
