This morning, the kids and I went to a fun playdate at my friends house. The kids got to make cute little paper plate ghosts and the moms were able to socialize. My friend had the cutest lunch and snacks set out for the kids and I just had to share them with you all.
She made Mummy Hot Dogs, Pumpkin Fruit Cups, Mummy Juice Boxes, and Frankenstein Pudding Cups. The kids LOVED their lunch!!
Mummy Hot Dogs– take a tube of crescent rolls and unroll. Cut several pieces out of the crescents and slowly wrap around the hot dog. Leave an opening at the top for the “eyes” of the mummy. Place on a sprayed/greased cookie sheets. Bake in oven for about 13-17 minutes, at 375. Once cooked, use mustard to make the eyes!
Pumpkin Fruit Cups– get any type of orange fruit cup from the store. Using a Sharpie, draw on a pumpkin face.
Frankenstein Pudding– Make a batch of vanilla pudding. Once set, use green food coloring to dye the pudding green. Pour into clear cups. Sprinkle crushed Oreo cookies on top. On outside of cup, using a Sharpie, draw on a Frankenstein face. Serve.
Mummy Juice Boxes– Take a package of juice boxes, any kind works great, and using white tape (electrical), wrap the box in the tape. Using sticky eyes, adhere them to the top of the juice box to make a mummy. *Cutting pieces of tape and only wrapping one side may be easier as it allows access to the straw still.
