BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches

About two weeks ago, we were approached by a company called Kyvan. Their company is a line of soul food and tailgating food created by former NFL pro Reggie Kelley and his wife Sheila. Sheila reached out to us to see if we would like to review one of their sauces. Of course we said yes, since we LOVE trying new things. She sent us their BBQ sauce and let me tell you, it was AMAZING!!!! It was a sweet tasting BBQ sauce, which is our favorite, yet it had a yummy smokey flavor to it. We used it on these BBQ Pulled Pork sandwiches and my husband said ” this is the best bbq pulled pork I have ever had”. That is quite impressive since we are from Texas, land of the awesome BBQ. I highly recommend trying it. If their other sauces are anything like their BBQ sauce, you will be quite satisfied!!! Check them out on Facebook or their website to see the other products they carry!!

2 lb pork tenderloin
1 (12 oz) can of soda (I used Dr. Pepper)
1 1/2 cups Kyvan BBQ Sauce or any favorite BBQ sauce of yours
Slider Buns or Hamburger Buns

In a slow cooker, place pork tenderloin on bottom. Pour can of soda over top of meat and place lid on slow cooker. Cook on low 6-7 hours. Remove meat from slow cooker and shred with two forks. Drain all liquid from slow cooker and place meat back inside. Pour sauce on shredded meat and toss to coat thoroughly. Scoop meat onto bread/sandwich of choice and enjoy!!
