All in One Spaghetti

I came across this recipe and was quite curious, what does “all in one” mean? Reading through it, it meant I would use one pot only, to cook the meat, sauce, noodles, etc. Sounded great to me, easy clean up!! It was a huge hit with my family. We all gobbled it down quickly and had quite the happy tummies afterwards. If you are looking for a fast, easy meal, here it is!!


1lb ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 (8oz) can tomato sauce
1 (6oz) can tomato paste
3 cups tomato juice
1 cup water
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp dried basil
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp dried oregano
Dash of pepper
12 oz spaghetti, uncooked
Parmesan Cheese


Cook beef, onion, and garlic in a dutch oven, stirring until beef is crumbled and no longer pink. Drain well. Return beef mixture to pan. Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, tomato juice, water, salt, sugar, basil, chili powder, oregano, and pepper. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and allow to simmer for about 30 minutes (stirring frequently). Add in uncooked pasta, cover and simmer for about 20 minutes or until pasta is tender. Garnish with Parmesan, serve warm!

*I had some extra sausage meatballs in my freezer, so I added those in as well.
