I tried this meal tonight for dinner and it was simple and delicious! I was out of the house all day and was able to come home and have this on the table in about 15 minutes. Impressive huh?? Hope you like it too!!
1 lb chicken breast (frozen or thawed)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
4 oz onion and chive cream cheese
2 cups chicken broth
1 packet dry Italian dressing mix
3 tbsp cornstarch
3 tbsp water
1 lb angel hair pasta, cooked, drained
Place chicken breasts on bottom of slow cooker. Cover with mushroom soup, cream cheese, chicken broth, and Italian dressing mix. Cover and cook on high 3-4 hours, low 7-8 hours. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water together. About 15 minutes from chicken being done, remove cover from show cooker to allow moisture to evaporate, and shred the chicken. Add in the cornstarch mixture to thicken up the sauce. At this time, cook the pasta and drain it. Add pasta into the slow cooker and chicken with pasta until thoroughly covered. Serve!!
